The material is recycled canvas.  Its original use is to protect cargo during over the road transport.  Truckers take good care of this protective canvas by mending it and reworking it as much as they possibly can until its time to buy new canvas. 

Rather than discarding the durable material it is purchased and crafted into some of the finest and funkiest hats, jackets and bags you’ll ever find.

Each piece is truly unique.  No canvas is alike and many pieces will come with original patchwork from that the drivers sewn to protect their load.
